For the very first time...

I'M ACTUALLY GOING TO BE TALKING ABOUT WHAT'S GOING ON IN MY LIFE!!! (feel free to skip this if you don't care!)
A vast majority of guys in my school (or at least a lot of them) Have girlfriends. I however, do not. I'm not sure if I want one. There are a few girls who I think are "pretty" or "nice" or even "might be a good match for me", but I've hit some MAJOR snags...
1. I feel awkward asking a girl out because I fear that they might already be dating someone, and even if I know them very well, I still can't tell and it would be awkward asking them...
AND (more importantly)
2.I don't Really think I'm emotionally, or mentally ready for some kind of relationship.
I talked to my sister, and she said that I might be afraid of commitment. or more acurately, I'm afraid of spending time on trying something new that I'm not used to.
I'm a MAJOR stresser. right before I try something new, I need at least ten minutes to an hour of "freak out time" (depending on how life changing the descision is.) which is where I pace in a circle and well... freak out! it's not a pleasant experience!
While I'd like to progress and transition into maybe starting a relationship at my own pace, peer pressure and peer influence I fear may end up making things go quicker than they should...
For those of you who actually read this whole thing, i commend you. and for those of you who just read the first paragraph and then skimmed to the end to read this, don't give me any advice; I don't want it.
